Unicourt Build 27 to Migrate to Visual Studio 2005
HOUSTON, TX. - October 28 (Internal) – Smith Datacom announced via
correspondence to current Unicourt Beta subscribers, that the latest
build of Unicourt (an automated Case Management System for the Clerk of
Court) would be migrated to Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2005 development
environment.
Several comments where made in the correspondence regarding the
migration by Charles Corrallo, a managing director with the company. “We
decided to invest the time in migrating to the 2005 release of Visual
Studio after evaluating many of the radical changes to Microsoft’s
flagship software engineering suite.” says Corrallo. “Our development
team is positioning the next major release, which internally we call
NOVA, to take advantage of several new features in Visual Studio such as
Click-Once deployment, mobile computing, and team collaboration.”
The announcement of a release candidate for Build 27 was made available
to testers, and an updated schedule for the ‘NOVA’ build of Unicourt to
be scheduled for late December of this year.
Unicourt Systems is a complete case and record management system for the
