UNICOURT SYSTEMS

Unicourt Systems is a complete case and record management tool for the Clerk’s Office. Our mission is to facilitate increased revenues, data accuracy, and enhanced productivity within the Clerk’s Office by leveraging innovative technologies and solutions. Unicourt Systems is unique in its design and feature list.

The system was developed under the supervision of a Clerk’s Office by certified software engineers and architects. The result is a flexible, extendible software solution that enables the Clerk of Court to extend capabilities and increase the level of service across the entire Parish.

Unicourt offers the following features in the current release:

Case Management:
Unicourt offers complete case management for Civil, Criminal, Land, and Jury including indexing, archiving, reporting, and searching tools. Unicourt Case Management Modules (UCMM™) can be used independently or as an integrated suite.

Imaging and Document Management: The document management module for Unicourt allows you to store any type of media within any record. Not only can you scan and store images within a record (i.e. the picture of an actual land deed) but you can also attach any type of media directly in the record. This includes spreadsheets, letters, video and sound.

User Management and Auditing: Unicourt provides access levels for all users in the system. Administrators can control read, write, view, and delete privileges for any module or system feature. The system will also automatically track who logged in, what they did, and what time it happened. Easily produce audit reports for any new, modified, or deleted records across the entire data repository.

Data Encryption and Masking: Unicourt allows administrators complete flexibility in how to secure or mask data. Any item in the database can be encrypted using a variety of government approved encryption algorithms (i.e. Triple DES). Data can also be hidden on specific forms or views within the system (data masking). Data can then be transmitted or batched in completely secured transactions.

Internet and Web Enablement: Unicourt can be used to meet a variety of deployment needs. It can be used in Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, or across the Internet. It can be configured in a traditional client/server model—or as an N-Tier model with Internet and Web interfaces. Our FormHammer™ tool also allows admins to quickly generate custom web extensions for any module.

Enterprise Development Standards: Unicourt was engineered by Smith Datacom (www.smithdatacom.com), a Microsoft Certified partner with a wealth of experience developing solutions for Fortune 500 companies and local and state agencies. Built exclusively around Microsoft’s new .NET framework using C# and Visual Basic .NET. Unicourt works with a number of database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
